Young Ladies Of Christ Minister Tracy Watkins Director
We serve to create an environment where young ladies age 5 to 17 are taught God’s plan of salvation, to identify their gifts, their purpose as Christians and how to develop a Christian lifestyle. Participants will engage in structured activities that build Christian character and learn their roles as servants of Christ and their responsibilities to serve others around them.
Growth into virtuous women will be facilitated through: Character and leadership development, education of specific women from the bible, biblical studies, life skills development and education of preserving the temple of God’s Spirit (their bodies).

Rites of Passage is a process for empowering youth with knowledge, skills and abilities to transition successfully from adolescence to adulthood. It is holistic in that it addresses the spiritual, emotional, physical and intellectual development of all participants. A spiritual transformation is experienced by those who complete the process.
We sponsor many activities during the year such as a career fair, community tour, black business tour, quilting with elders, black history bowl, dining at Claiborne’s (service oriented dinner), and a Coming of Age Ceremony.

We Jam For Jesus! Our ministry serves to excite young people about God. Focused on promoting Jesus through music, for ages 12 – 18, we offer an opportunity to serve God and His church and most importantly, the opportunity for teens to be lead to salvation. We don’t just learn songs and sing them, but we offer a fun, comprehensive Christian ministry tailored specifically to the teen fellowship. We also study the biblical premise and life application of our music. We sing at other churches and attend Christian concerts, conferences, summer & winter fellowship parties and participate in other worship experiences.
