Deacons Ministry
"For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a high standing and great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus." ~ 1 Timothy 3:13, NASB
Deacons are requested, appointed and ordained by the Pastor. Deacons serve and care for individuals within the church and community, as well as disciples who are sick or shut-in. Dea-cons are primarily concerned with advancing the spiritual welfare of the church. Deacons serve Communion, baptize, provide comfort and assistance at funerals, receive tithes and offerings, and lead devotions. Central’s deacons are highly visible and serve as significant spiritual leaders and church officers.
