This ministry serves to promote recreation and fellowship among boys and men through friendly games of basketball. We extend fellowship to current disciples of Central Baptist Church and the surrounding community by introducing Christ through prayer, testimony, praise, and conversation to all who come on Wednesday evenings. We are open to males 5 years of age and up.
Meet: Wednesday Time: 6:00-7:30PM for boys 5-13 years of age. 7:30-9:30PM for males 14 and up. |

To promote better health to the congregation and community by providing emergency support during Sunday Worship Service, sponsoring American Red Cross CPR training and blood drives, purchasing medical kits for the church, and facilitating health care seminars. |

We empower students for academic success! The Learning Center is an outreach-tutoring ministry available to our disciples and neighborhood students. Students will receive assistance with the basic core academic subjects and homework, grades K-12.
Services include: study skills assistance, test taking techniques, time management, anger management, effective communication and listening techniques, note-taking skills, internet and computer-assisted instructional software, adult basic literacy, and GED preparation assistance. Our annual activity is the “Back To School Rally.” |

Our purpose is to promote spiritual healing, growth, and fellowship among men, as well as inspire them to be regular in their attendance to various worship services, tithing, and outreach. We are open to all male disciples eighteen years of age and above.
Yearly we sponsor the Men’s Annual Day, Prayer Breakfast, and participate in the Mentor St. Louis program at Dunbar Elementary School. |

Juanita VaughnChairperson Our ministry serves the Body of Christ by: - Reaching inward, nurturing our membership through mission study, education, fellowship and prayer.
- Reaching outward through personal witnessing, evangelizing, helping the needy and less fortunate in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our ministry has several projects that we participate in conjunction with other District Missions. These include visiting disciples who are sick & shut-in, having prayer and reading bible passages, effectively reaching those who do not know Christ through evangelism, preparing and delivering sandwiches for the homeless, and give annual financial support to National Foreign Mission Boards and Western Baptist Seminary. |
